and Management Convention

Poverty and unemployment are increasingly widespread in Africa despite high growth rate in the last 5 years, with the continental average peak of 6.1% in 2007.  Recent Africa’s economic report on unemployment and poverty status suggests that economic growth does not correlate with increase in the labour market.  To address fundamental challenges associated with gaps in job creation processes in Africa therefore, the Africa Leadership Forum (ALF) and Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) jointly convenes the 3rd Africa Governance, Leadership and Management Convention taking place in Mombasa Kenya, on August 5th – 9th, 2012.

The Objectives of this conference include to:

·         Promote a private sector led continental dialogue on wealth and job creation
